Fluttering Birds

Fluttering birds was painted from my memory. While riding my bike in northern Florida I looked up to find a flock of spoonbills fluttering across the sky, their vibrant pink wings sparkling past me. With a pencil, pen and a wash of brilliant pink watercolor I set out to capture some of the gleeful feeling these creatures shared with me. Fluttering birds is drawn on 300 lb watercolor paper, size 22×28.
